Now in its fifth decade, the Oratorio Chorale is a symphonic chorus committed to advancing choral music through exceptional performances well as educational and community outreach and collaborations. Recent Chorale initiatives include a Young Artists Program for gifted high school students and a women’s chorus, Sweetest in the Gale.
Artistic Director Emily Isaacson is now in her fifth season with the Chorale. She is noted for unique programming that provides a contemporary take on timeless music.
Oratorio Chorale, founded in 1974 in southern mid-coast Maine, is an organization of 70 auditioned, professionally directed singers committed to advancing the experience of choral music of diverse genres through performances, outreach (educational and community), and collaborations.
